Third Friday Educational Encounter- Bringing "Breaking Through to Life"

Friday, January  18, 2008

The January Educational Encounter focuses on practical applications of principles in the book, “Breaking Through: Creating Opportunities for America’s Women and Minority-Owned Businesses” by Susan Phillips Bari, nationally recognized leader in the women’s business community and the founding president of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Germaine Porche of Eagle’s View Consulting and a WBE will facilitate the session and will provide an overview of the principles in the book after which several WBEs will describe how they have used the principles to build their businesses.  Corporate representatives will also describe how they have seen the principles demonstrated in their relationships with WBEs. Box lunches are provided by Chevron and will be available throughout the two-hour timeframe.
